Finding the right size compression sack can be a bit challenging. Fortunately I was able to narrow my options down based on Amazon reviews and others. To give some perspective, the bag I have is a Marmot 0 degree Gamma Sleeping Bag with 700-fill goose down. I was looking for a lightweight sack with maximum compressibility.

Excellent stuff sack, though I bought a size too large.

Excellent compression sacks at a good value. Used for backpacking purposes.

Love it. Use it for a larger size sleeping bag, so I have to really use some force to get it all in and this bag holds up. So far I love Alps equipment! I bought a Slumberjack and the seam split when I stuffed it the second time. But this Alps is great on strength. I like the zipper pouch as a bonus too!.

I purchased a Teton Deer Hunter 0 sleeping bag for a trip to Yellowstone in the fall. It is huge, but I wanted canvas. This sleeping bag fits nicely in the XL stuff sack, which then compresses down to acceptable carry-on size.

Shocking how much space it saves!

I recently purchased this ALPS Compression Stuff Sack in order to save some space in my backpack during my hikes. The sleeping bag that I purchased, a Coleman North Rim 0-Degree, is a bit bulky. The sleeping bag, when stuffed into the bag it came with, would take up a large portion of the main compartment in my backpack. After speaking to a few friends who are experienced backpackers I decided that this compression bag was the way to go. So far I have not been disappointed.

Love it!

These bags are awesome! Totally impressed. We bought two of them for a backpacking trip. The large size bag compressed a mummy bag that was stuffed into a 13-gallon trash bag (and a 12″x12″ pillow) into a very compact and easily backpackable size. All straps, buckles, and fabric held up well over its first weekend use. Seriously awesome.

Extremely Well Made Compression Sack with a Lot of Options, but a Bit Small for My Huge Sleeping Bag

I enjoy camping, and for better or worse, have owned a large sleeping bag for around ten years which offers a lot of versatility in the way of zipping and unzipping layers for various temperatures, a hood and more, but unfortunately, packing and unpacking it has been another matter entirely.

Perfect for my 9 x 15 inch stuffed sleeping bag!

I purchased the Kelty Dualist 33 Deg 550 Thermadri Women’s Regular backpacking sleeping bag on Amazon and wanted a good stuff bag. This bag is a good fit with a little room to spare for a pillow, jacket, or something. The pictures show the medium size stuff sack with my sleeping bag alone inside. Happy trails and adventures! Four stars because I have yet to put some wear ‘n’ tear on it!
