I recently bough a hammock that came with rope to tie up the hammock. It was just rope. There was no way I was going to feel secure that my rope tying skills are going to support everybody. Especially in a 2 person hammock. I got these and the strips are made out of some material similar to seat belt straps. They are very thick and strong. They are 2 inches wide and 120 inches long which if I haven’t completely lost my math skills is ten feet long. This is ample length if you are camping and using 2 large tree bases for your anchors. It also allows for awkward situations where you might need extra length. Now I do wish this came with the instructions as pictured here on the page. The S hooks are much better quality than in the instruction photo. They are thick metal and don’t look like they would possibly bend. My hammock has clips on the ends that can just hook on to the S hooks easily. Once you have this wrapped around your anchor in a multi-layer and than through the buckle and tightened you are good to go. This is now much more secure and I feel a lot safer using these than I did just using the rope anchors. The straps and the S hooks come inside a black bag with a red drawstring. Super easy to stash in the trunk or in a bin. I did receive the Attmu Hammock Tree Hanging Straps in exchange for my honest review.

bought these to use with ” Sweet Dream Canvas Hammock Cotton Fabric Travel Camping Hammock One Person(Blue) ” and they were great! the only reason for knocking off one star was because the directions were a little hard to follow. we ended up going on amazon to look at the photos on the item description, as it did help. if you were in an area where you had no service i guess you’d have to just “make it work”… tip- when you can’t get another wrap around the tree but need more space – move the straps up higher on the tree.

I bought a hammock not too long ago to hang out on my deck durning these warmer fall nights, and while the tie straps that came with it were “ok” they didn’t feel like they were the most sturdy ever. Especially when they claimed they could hold two people and I felt anxious sitting in it alone.

While I’ve only been using them for about a week, these hammock straps seem to be very strong work very well with our hammock. I really like the hooks that come with it as they are very heavy duty.
