This compression bag works perfectly for my needs. I don’t know how you can go wrong for the money spent. I use it to compress the top quilt I use in my hammock. Compressed, it fits nicely in my bedding bag with the rest of my cold weather gear. Before I bought this compression bag, my top quilt would fill the entire bedding bag. So, it got packed separately. I like to condense my gear as much as possible for ease of carrying. This compression bag fills that need very well. This is a Bluefield compression bag and is available for a much better price than what Camtoa sells it for. I found it as a Prime add on item for $6.99 a much more reasonable price than the $10.90 I was charged by this vendor.
A sturdy option for sleeping bags
I bought several “non-brand name” compression sacks from Amazon to test. Compression sacks can be very expensive so I was looking for a more affordable solution. I used this bag to pack a Women’s Marmot Trestles 15 Degree Long sleeping bag because my original bag from Marmot finally bit the dust. It’s a tight fit but it does fit! I wish this had the little flap at the opening to cover the contents – but instead the top of the bag is exposed. For my travel style this missing flap isn’t a deal breaker but it is something to consider before purchasing. I will cut a scrap of nylon to cover the opening to hopefully ward off unwanted damage to the bag (accidental rips/tears from exposure). I like the strength of this bag and I think it will last at least as long as the original Marmot compression sack. Also note that this item is branded CAMTOA in the listing but arrives branded as Bluefield.

Lightweight and compact.. Keep it simple is key. This bag does exactly what is suppose to. Compacts clothes, sleeping bag, and keeps things separated. I used it to compact an old sleeping bag on a 3 day trip. Couldn’t be happier

These are a great value. For backpacking I was able to compress my sleeping bag to a desired size and strap it to my pack. When I’m not back packing I still use this to store my bag, I just decompress it and leave it as “open” as possible. The description mentions something about “waterproof function”, I don’t think they are waterproof however I bought a waterproof pack cover so I really didn’t need this to be waterproof.

I just love this bag. I am glad I ordred it. It is a good size bag that holds all my stuff I need to pack. It even folds to a smaller size to make it compact.
