I first received this bag as a gift, and confess that my initial reaction to the funny zipper pattern, and the ‘sheet’ was less than enthusiastic (I scoffed, under my breath).

The sleeping bag isn’t conventional, the way it zippers, but it makes sense for 3 season camping. With a built in sheet, it’s cozy for the summer when it’s warm at night, but zipped up it provides plenty of warmth. Probably not the best for winter camping, but I don’t know too many people that camp in the winter anyway. I also like that it has the place for your pillow to keep it off the ground and prevent it from potentially getting dirty (or provide some comfort if you didn’t have a pillow). They roll up and store nicely as well.

Nice sleeping bags, made of good materials and good quality finish. Comfortable and do the work well.

Nice sleeping bags, made of good materials and good quality finish. Comfortable and do the work well. We did use them extensively during our 10-day camping/trekking and we had no issues whatsoever.

We purchased a couple of these sleeping bags for family summer camping in Montana, where the temperature can easily dip in the 30s at night. We used them for the first time this week and they were great. We stayed warm and comfortable even though the temperature did get into the low 30s. We liked them so much that I am going to order two more bags for the kids.

Highly recommend for side sleepers or tossers and turners

I love this sleeping bag! Based on other reviews I was really unsure if I would like it or hate it, but it is great for my needs. It is pretty heavy & kind of unwieldy, so not a good choice for backpacking, but if you are warm weather camping & just toting it from your car to a campsite that is not going to be an issue anyway. The sheet/zipper design allows you to regulate your warmth as the temperature fluctuates throughout the night. I am tall, so I went with the bigger size & I am glad I did, it seems roomy but not huge. The pillow rest is nice. It doesn’t have a stuff sack, but the string system that secures it when it is rolled seems to work well & it requires less effort to pack & stow than my bag that does have a sack. I think this is a great design & I am really pleased with this purchase. It would be 5 stars if it were lighter & more pack-able. But still a great sleeping bag!

I bought this for use in a motor home in lieu of packing bedding. It works well, and the extra size allowed for improved comfort. I liked having the pillow support especially well. There is a single piece inner ‘sheet’ which is sewn in on one edge and the bottom, and has a button/loop attachment so you can anchor it. I’m not sure how it was designed to be used, but I used it as a top sheet with the bag zipped partially open. The S opening is a bit awkward to get used to, but it is a good design.

So good to sleep in but so lousy to pack!

I loved the sleep i got in this thing! its not a gimmick, it really does keep you comfortable at all temps in any situation! I am a little concerned at how large is packs. Don’t even think about backpacking with something like this, this thing occupies a lot of real estate, and it did not even come with its own bag! Not cool, but forgiveable because of how comfortable I was sleeping in it. Just beware if you’re someone who needs and wants to pack light, this might not be the one for you.
