This tent is amazing! I purchased it for my one week stay with my friend who lives on the coast of SC. When you take it out of the bag, it pops up immediately. The stakes held it perfectly in the sand, and would do the same on grass. It was bigger than we thought! The fold up is tricky at first. Don’t use the video that is emailed to you when you purchase, YouTube how to put away the icorer. We watched a version that was so simple we were shocked, after having tried the other way for like 20 minutes. You will not be disappointed!
Excellent, portable sun protection!

We purchased this tent to shelter our four month old baby from the sun while on vacation in St. Croix. It is lightweight (we placed it in one of our checked bags) and it was easy to put up by myself while wearing the baby; it pops open in seconds. It comes with six stakes, which were sufficient for our needs, but there are also two pockets which run along the length of the outside walls that can be filled with sand for additional anchoring. It’s pretty simple to fold, although one time we had a bit of trouble (something twisted the wrong way), but it was fine after we opened it up again and re-folded. There was plenty of room inside for the baby to nap. It lasted through our vacation (which is all we had hoped for) and we brought it home to use in the summer. Most importantly, no sunburn for baby (or Mommy)!

ORIGINAL REVIEW: Despite the YouTube videos, I have not been able to fold it back down after using it the second time. I was able to do it well once, when I tested it. However, on our actual beach excursion, I could not get it closed even after pulling up a video on my cell phone. In fact, I may have bent the frame trying it so many times and I may have to just throw it away. It was easy enough to set up, and I liked having the thin bottom lining so we didn’t have to sit on our beach towels. I did not feel it was sturdy enough to withstand the wind that day if I wandered too far away from it. The next day we set a cooler down inside, which made it feel much more secure. It was probably too small to put more than one chair inside. My visitors wanted to sit in the sun anyway, so I sat inside the tent with the cooler and our beach bag. There would not have been enough room for a second person as long as the cooler and beach bag were inside. If I can get it closed again, it will probably do nicely for my purposes. I live near the beach and I should be able to put it in my bike bag for a quick bike ride to the beach. It’s still in my garage in it’s fully open state, but I gave it a 3 assuming I can get it folded back up and use it for the purpose I described. This review is for the iCorer Automatic Pop Up Instant Portable Outdoors Quick Cabana Beach Tent Sun Shelter. I paid $40 for it, so I will be annoyed if I end up having to throw it away. The seller sent me several videos, as stated in the Amazon product info.

I purchased this tent to use on our trip to Florida. It was easy to set up on the beach. It popped right open and I had it set up in under a minute and secured in the sand. It was the perfect size for my 8 month old to play in and take a nap. I liked the color of the tent and the mesh window panel in the back for ventilation. The tent folds up small in the carrying case and it easily fit in my suitcase. We used it twice on our vacation. After the first use, my husband watched multiple instructional videos and it took him about 45 minutes to finally get the tent to fold down the correct way to put back in the case. Then we used it again and it took me 10 seconds to fold it down the right way. Go figure! I must have been holding it at the correct spot and pressed down the right way and… BAM! That was that! It folded right up!

Great great great! We have already used it a few times since we got it a couple weeks ago and it is exactly what I was looking for. My 2 yr old loves to pop it up because of the dramatic effect. We pin it down and place the sand in the side pockets to anchor it. Then to bring down its very similar to many kids lifesavers and toys so watching the video was a good refresher. The seller sends you multiple videos on how to pack it up. It really is simple. Just practice at home before you use it so you’re not figuring it out when you’re at the beach or camping.

I love beach time and and go to the beach 2hrs from my place every 2 weeks however one of things that worry me is Sunburn. The 50SPF sunscreens only do so much and carrying umbrella and towels for shade is tough. When I received Portable Insta popup cabana, I was super excited and after using it for long weekend beach time in LA, I was very impressed and noted my observations below:
My kids love this tent

This was money very well spent. My youngest hates hats but loves being outside. This tent allows for both in an easy to store package.

The concept is pretty awesome, and setting up is obviously the EASY part. I have two complaints.
