It works for me!

Received mat a few days ago. I was skeptical that the mat would be truly comfortable as we have tried several and simply sent them back. I am 6 feet seven inches and weigh 225 pounds. Also, I am 64 years old and some level of comfort is mandatory. This mat is the one!
BEST PAD EVER!

I was trying to decide between the Lightspeed Warmth Series and this one and I’m glad I chose this one! I have camped my whole life with and without a pad and sometimes a cot, if I was fortunate. I was so impressed with this pad from the start. It fills up with air quickly and I didn’t need to blow into it as it met my firmness/comfort level. I’d say within 20 minutes it felt acceptable but I let it fill for about 6 hours. I ordered a long and wide one although I’m just 5’5″ and average weight. I have a king size bed at home and did not want to forego my sprawling out area. I never felt like I could roll off and I literally forgot I was camping it was comfy! We own a few Colemans and I told my husband I getting older and require more padding for my bones and joints. He tried it out himself and wanted to trade me–heck no! Folding it up was not difficult to me as I was able to get it back in the sack it arrived in. I wished I order this kind of pad 10 years ago when we would take our two boys camping. I hope it lasts a long time.
The closest to glamping you can get while roughing it

Wonderful!!! Confession though: So far we haven’t used for an entire night – we were supposed to go camping last week, but then the baby got sick. So sad. BUT I will update when we can with them next. That being said – I still have a lot of initial impressions.
Two thumbs up…HIGHLY recommend!

I spent A LOT time reading reviews and comparing self- inflating sleep pads. Let me tell ya, I’m so happy I chose this one! The description of this pad is 100% true. It form fits to your body, just let it inflate (add a couple breathes if you want, not needed though). I like to lay on it, reach back, and let a little bit of air out until it’s perfect for me. I don’t feel the ground, it’s comfortable for back, tummy or side sleeping. The material is very cozy, when I’m laying on the pad I REALLY don’t want to get up. I bought two of these 3 inch thick pads and as measured they are 3 inches thick. I’m not heavy or large, but I really wanted a sleep pad where I could spawl out and definitely not feel the ground. Two pads side by side, are perfect for two adults…and a small kid who may sneak next to you while camping. I can slip on a queen size fitted sheet to “connect” the two pads as well. My favorite color is turquoise, so I’m very happy with the appearance. The pillow part is only a half inch larger than the rest of the pad, it works fine, but I love to bring my fav pillow along camping for that at home feel. These pads truly have no nasty chemical smell…what huge a plus! The bag to store them in is slightly oversized, there are Velcro straps to wrap the deflated pad, no stuffing it back in, yes! I am soooooo done using air mattresses; waking up on the cold ground, all the bouncy movement, and needing a pump…this mamma is never looking back. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend these…I like to sleep comfortably (I’m picky) at home and while camping and this pad is something I really look forward to laying on after a long day hiking. My husband fell asleep on his right away (on our living room floor) the first day we got it, I didn’t even have the twist knobs sealed for him at the time. He totally zonked out, lol. Two thumbs up!
THING IS MAGICAL!

I got this new fangled air mattress to replace a traditional blow-up Coleman mattress that is used for camping and guest accommodations. I was able to test out this magical little mat at a friend’s house before taking it out camping for it’s maiden voyage. I let it inflate for roughly 8 hours with a houseful of onlookers eager to see how it faired. It does indeed inflate all by itself! Since I am plus sized (5’5″ 260),I added 2 puffs of air and prepared for sleep. I am a side-sleeper and all I can say is WOW! This is a fantastic product! It’s very large-both length- and width-wise, it’s plush and I never “bottomed out”. I woke up refreshed and with a distinct and welcome lack of discomfort that I usually faced with my previous mattress. It also did not make me sweat to death! Putting this away was also a pleasantly quick affair…the set up and packing away saved at least 15-20 minutes and tons of space is also regained by the compact footprint of this mattress. I will be buying more of these!
Must have!

I was super nervous to use these while out camping. We did not have the time to set them up at home before we left for our week long camping trip, so the first use was the first night camping! I am a 30 something woman weighing 260, and the 3 inches make me scared. But to my surprise I slept well! These are comfortable with a nice pillow (would not recommend using without your own pillow). After laying it out I did add a few extra puffs of air and it was good to go for the week! I never had to add or decrease any air the entire trip!!!! This is a must have!!!
This thing is ridiculously comfortable, especially for the price

This thing is ridiculously comfortable, especially for the price. I honestly think this thing may be more luxurious and comfortable than my king size bed! Insanely plush and thick, you can’t feel anything underneath you. My only slight complaint is it can be tough to get in the bag, but what do you expect for a 3″ foam pad! Overall this thing is great, can’t wait to take it on more car camping trips. When going places solo where I used to use an air mattress, I will probably use this now. So much easier, and honestly more comfy. I highly recommend this!
Worth. Every. Penny.

I just used this for a 2 night tent camping trip with my troop of 15 junior girl scouts. OMG it made camping a MUCH better experience than I have had in the past. I used to dread even just backyard camping because sleeping on the ground was always so uncomfortable and I’d never get any sleep. This sleeping mat is a game changer. I agree with those who have said it’s almost better than the mattress on their bed. I also read through the reviews and saw that it takes a few steps to deflate it, and followed those.
EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE

Ordered this item (along with others that will also get reviews) to use in a converted utility trailer. Everything arrived on schedule with Prime and all contents were properly packed. There were no shipping issues at all. I have used the mattress once now on a plywood “bed” and IT IS EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE! You cannot feel anything under the mattress! I had a great night sleep on this.
Great Pad for Car Camping.
This pad is comfortable directly on the ground for camping. I have only used it once over a memorial day weekend in the NE so I don’t have knowledge of how warm it will be on colder ground in colder weather. I placed it on my new camping cot for a quick evaluation and I can tell that this pad + the cot will be extremely comfortable; I have slept on less comfortable guest beds at friends’ houses. It is definitely too large and unwieldy for backpacking. It does take a little effort to roll up once you are done with it even when you follow the roll-up video on the Lightspeed website. This is not a pad that I would happily roll up daily but rolling it up once a weekend will be perfectly acceptable.
