If you are looking for portability, go with the regular chair not the Lounge

The description didn’t include the dimensions and weight of this Lounge version of the mini Moon Lence chair, so I ended up purchasing both chairs for comparison, and I’ll provide you more details below.

This may be the single greatest investment for a hiker/backpacker. If you backpack regularly and you don’t have a chair that you take with you I highly recommend it. It makes the evening around the campsite so much more enjoyable, I can’t believe I used to hike without a chair. You back and feet are killing you after a long day of hiking. Having somewhere to sit at the end of the day makes all the difference in the world.

Great quality folding chair. This Moon Lence camping is comparable with major brand chairs. The aluminum frame is strong and light. Easy to assemble with the bungee cords inside of the frame. The cloth and net are stitched well. The upper holes on the cloth have strong grips which helps to put the frame into the hole. The plastic crossing part of the frame is sturdy and the legs hold the ground well. Very comfy. Like it!

These are great once you get the cover on the dang frame. We wrestled with the thing for over an hour before we bent the frame to fit the fabric. Once we got it on it was a lot easier the next few times. As one would guess, the fabric was a little hard to get off. The chairs are so light weight they can be an easy tip over (when sitting in them) but if you are sitting with your weight distributed evenly you’ll be fine.

We got these for kayaking trips and backpacking, but my husband thinks it is so comfortable that it’s his new favorite place to sit in the living room.

I am very happy with the chair. I’m 5’2″ and the back comes to the base of my neck so there is no neck support, however, I’m using this for an easy take along chair for festivals, beach, concerts, etc… and not using it for casual camping where I would be more comfortable in a heavier, larger chair with armrests. I carried it around in a small tote with bottles of water, sunscreen, etc. and never regretted carrying it. It takes less than a minute to set up or take down and fits back into the carry bag easily. I keep my chairs (I bought 4) in my car. So light! Love them.

I bought three of these a few months ago and with moderate use (several camping trips, 2-3 x a week at sporting events, and a couple of picnics) they have held up better than I expected based on other reviews. Most of the time it has been my kids or me (135lb) sitting in them and we have never felt unstable or like we were too heavy for the chair. My husband (220) has also sat in them for short periods (because he has his own fancy folding chair). I was also worried that the kids would flip backwards because of how the chairs lean backwards and how kids like to rock in chairs, but no one has flipped off a chair yet either. I have no problems getting the fabric to stretch over the poles like another reviewer mentioned and even my kids (9, 7, 5) are able to set up and put away the chairs on their own. Every time that we have set these up we get compliments on them. I love how they take up so little space in the car and are so lightweight to carry. They are nice quality and I will be purchasing several more as gifts.

Really nice chair for the price. This chair is equivalent to the Ancheer chair also sold on amazon. I have purchased both chairs, and I find the Moon Lence chair slightly better than the Ancheer chair.

As someone who also owned the chair that this one is copying it’s a great deal for the price which is 1/3 of the Helinox chair one. It’s as well built and durable as the original. It’s definitely not comfortable to sit in for long periods of time but if I’m taking it camping I won’t be sitting in it for long periods of times so that’s not a big concern. The only con that I see is that it weighs twice as much as the original (2lbs vs 1lb). I bought it for car camping so not an issue.
