You won’t believe it until you see it. We use this as an entrance to our tent when we camp at the beach, this way we keep the inside of the tent sand free. the product works as advertised.

My go to mat now for all my picnics and beach adventures

This mat is fantastic. It allows small dirt particles and sand to fall through the mat. This way all you have to do is brush off any larger debris and you have a clean mat. Twigs, grass clippings, etc. just brush off of it. It is made of stiff material. I’d say plastic but it seems to be really tough. It’s been jumped on, run on, tossed around and it still looks like new.

Using it every week in Hawaii, great replacement for towel

I live in Hawaii and it now permanently lives in my car and we use it 1-2 times per week to go to the beach (Ala Moana usually). Being made of plastic, it’s very convenient. If I left a towel in the car and used it a few times a week for months, the towel would retain dirt and get mildewy quickly.

The science behind the sand-free multimat is not complicated – it’s woven into a fine mesh which allows sand to fall through the bottom. It works pretty darn good, and the size options are a good variety. I opted for the 8×8 which is great for 2-3 tall people comfortably.

Excellent mat for the beach! Sand can filter thru the mat but can’t come up thru or stay on the mat. If you go to a beach that has large grains of sand (more like larger crushed up shell type of sand beach) then this is not for you as the holes in the mat are small and require a fine to medium sand to filter.
