I bought this recently for a camping trip in the desert where there are no facilities. Honestly, I’d never even heard of a “shower tent” before until I was searching around amazon.com looking for anything that could help make the trip more enjoyable since I would be tent camping for 5 days. I’m really glad I bought this and it was so nice to be able to take a “real” shower while hanging out in the boonies.

I let this item sit in my cart for over a month before I decided to pull the trigger and get it. I was concerned about the reviews saying it was flimsy and easy to break. My review is based on a practice setup in my backyard, and also how it performed when I actually used it while camping.

We took this shower on a camping weekend for nascar race in sept, and it worked just fine. I set it up ahead of time in the yard when we got it, so I would know how to put it together at the campsite. It takes a few minutes to construct, and is plenty big enough. It had no problem holding a 5 gallon water bag which was filled up all the way. I heard of other showers falling over, this one will not fall over with the water bag on it. We didn’t even stake it down due to the ground being hard, and it still never blew over. The towel bar on the outside comes in very handy. The shower caddy works great to hold all the stuff you want. Probably would be better if it was a hard plastic one, but I understand why they make it mesh, so it can roll back up and go into the bag for camping.

This tent was perfect for my camping needs. It did have a flaw – hard to hang the shower 5 gallon bag to the provided center hooks. The tent caved in, but if you are a REALLY good tent staker, maybe you would have better luck. I hung the bag on a hook I purchased at Lowes (garden plant holder). The privacy is GREAT! It’s very spacious. I put the portable potty in it too! Has a rain fly too! Comes w/the 5-gal water bag (mine did) and a floor. Camping would not have been perfect had I not had this bathhouse. They may be more out there but for the money and space, this ranks 5 stars for me.

We purchased and used this over 4th of July weekend. Did a dry run set-up in the back yard prior to actual use which definitely helped. It’s roomy and the corner pouch handled 3 different bottles of shampoo/body wash with no problem. Like how the windows on either side zip open/close so you can hang towels or clothes outside to stay dry while showering. Did not use rain fly this trip. We used an Eccotemp portable tankless water heater and inserted the shower head through the window. Definitely worth the money for us.

After trying a couple of other brand/models it is a real pleasure to use the TexSport. Goes up easily & is very sturdy when pegged down correctly. Well designed & the ‘extras’ such as poly floor, towel bars, shower caddy, etc., are great. I like this unit best of all similar items available.
