I love this bag! It arrived quickly took about 5 days. It’s just as I expected it to be! I love the all black look with the white logo. I am a female and it fits great. Very comfortable. The main compartment is quite roomy. Fits about 3 chunky textbooks and 2-3 notebooks. Perfect college backpack.

Great bag. It has 2 main compartments, one in the front and one in the back. The compartment in the front has a couple of smaller pockets to put stuff inside, pretty simple layout. The straps are really comfortable and will never eat into your shoulders regardless of the content weight. I also had my bag on during slight rain with my DSLR inside. I was worried initially but when I found shelter, my camera and insides were still totally dry.

As good as my old Jester…. even better

I have a senior in high school that’s had this backpack since day one freshman year. It still looks great! My eighth grader was due for a new backpack, so I didn’t see any reason to look elsewhere. It’s a great product, sturdy, good size and what the kids want!

Good deal and nice bag

I like the bag, seems sturdy and love the style. I was a bit disappointed the smaller pouches for pens and such was found in the larger pocket of the bookbag rather in the smaller. Also has padding in the back so that’s nice

Great for college student

I purchased this backpack for my brother who needed a new backpack because his old one started tearing off at the straps. This backpack features two compartments. The bigger one features a 15″ laptop sleeve in the back, and has space for several books, folders, and notebooks. It is not as roomy or spacious as his old backpack. He said that he wanted a smaller backpack, and I think that this is a good size.

Best of basic

This backpack is awesome! Not many compartments (one main and one secondary) but they are both pretty spacious and not complicated. The backpack compartments have just enough space for several large books. The second one closest to the front has organizers built in for pens, pencils, calculators, a mesh pocket; basically just various size compartments for holding things. The main one is held closed by a small square inch of Velcro, which doesn’t completely seal the compartment, but it does the job of keeping whatever is inside the compartment from falling out (unless the backpack is inverted and shaken around, which probably won’t happen). Zippers are great quality with somewhat large metal attachments and lanyards that seem to be holding up after use every day with no trouble. The backpack adjusts to my specific desired tightness around my shoulders very well, and has two plastic clips that can clip together to keep the backpack even more secure (I took mine off because I found at least one pair unnecessary for normal school use). The shoulder pads are comfortable even with a shirt off (they may get a little annoying over long periods of time though), and conform very well to my shoulders. The top loop for hanging seems very secure, and isn’t padded with anything; only a strip of material folded over on itself. I like this very much. The side mesh pockets are deep and serve their job well. There is a tightening flexible band around the front of the second compartment farthest from the back that you can adjust to keep whatever is in the pocket very tightly held and secure. The part that sits closest to my back on the backpack is a somewhat hard shell, and I like this because it provides protection from whatever is inside the backpack from poking at my back. Overall, I wished there was a little more room in the backpack, but it is a wonderful backpack if lots of space is not a necessity. Great work, North Face.

Awesome bag!

I’ve been looking for a new backpack for work for some time and I finally found it. I needed something that could comfortably hold a 15″ laptop while being comfortable on my back and having a slim profile. There’s a surprising amount of storage in this bag. It easily holds everything I need it to (including two laptops and chargers) and there’s still room to spare. I was also happy to see that the side mesh pockets perfectly fit my Camelbak water bottle.

Looks Great, Also Functional

The laptop sleeve is great, my MacBook Pro slips right in and out perfectly. There is also a pocket with a zipper in the main compartment that I use to store my pens and pencils in so they don’t get lost in the bottom of my backpack. The black is a great option, looks great no matter where you are or what you are wearing. I can say that I have been in some heavy rain on campus while wearing this backpack and everything has always stayed dry inside.
