These are fantastic. I bought the TrackR originally, but they were nowhere near a replacement for the Tile. The new size of the Tile Slim is perfect for a wallet and the new Minis are just as-expected.

This has already saved me a lot of stress in the first week. of owning it. My husband and I are horrible at misplacing our keys and wallets. We’ve both used our Tiles and we love them. People are upset over the battery lasting only one year, and that made me nervous. So I chatted with Tile customer service before buying the 8-pack, and I found out that once my battery dies, it’ll only cost me $15 for another Mate size. $15 for 12 months of peace of mind? Please. That’s a few cups of Starbucks. I’ll take it without a single complaint. It’s worth it.

This Combo Pack of four Tile Mate tiles: two slim tiles (larger and flatter) and 2 originals (smaller and thicker w a keychain hole), are just the bee’s knees. I downloaded the app onto my iPhone 5 by searching apps for “the tile app” and easily downloaded, signed up, created a password and linked my phone to be a 5th tile. You go into the app to add each new tile, and I was having problems where the tiles were not being added. I went to their website and IM’d their tech support, who were right there (Sat. afternoon). JC @tile did a fab job talking me though just resetting my phone by turning off the wifi, bluetooth and location functions, turning my phone on and off, and re-starting the three functions I had previously turned off. When I went back into the tile app, it read each tile and added them to my list of searchable devices. nice. On the website, you can see a map w the location of your phone, and on your phone, you can see the map location of all your tiles. Another cool feature (that I particularly need), is that by pressing any one of your tiles twice, your phone will start broadcasting a short song, even if your phone is on mute.

Wish you didn’t have to keep the app/Bluetooth on for full functionality.

I was a little surprised how thin these were when i opened the box and I’d really not researched them well. I knew I could find my keys and phone with them, the two things I can’t seem to keep track of, and that’s all I cared about. I can thank my toddlers for one of those as they think my phone is their play toy.

I can’t run in the background like some of the other Bluetooth trackers can

I lose everything. I mean everything. Of all the trackers this is the sharpest looking one.
