The TravelChair Slacker tripod stool is a lightweight camp chair that folds down small, is easy to set up, and is the perfect blend between comfortable, portable and durable. Perfect for camping, a day at the beach, an outdoor concert, fishing, hunting, golfing, or to keep in your car just-in-case, the Slacker weighs only 1.9 lbs. but can hold up to 275 lbs weight capacity. Designed for ease in traveling, the Slacker chair is no bigger than a rolled-up newspaper when folded and secured with its integral Velcro strap. Its frame is constructed from extra-heavy tubing for less flexing, and is coated in an exterior, rust-resistant powder. The double-coated PU-backed polyester fabric will not fade or degrade in the sun and is stretch, tear, and abrasion resistant. The fabric also distributes weight evenly, making sitting on this folding travel chair quite comfortable. This stool has high-quality nylon connectors and rivets that fit perfectly and will not move around. The Slacker features oversized, nylon feet to prevent the chair from sinking into sand or other soft surfaces. Available in a variety of colors, the Slacker is lab tested to ensure its strength and durability. I bought two of these chairs for a recent trip to a convention, whose long waits in line were the norm. I’m approx 6’1-240lbs so not on the smaller side. I used this chair for 50 hours in a 72 hour span. While not the most comfortable chair ever made, for the amount of time I used it, I have to say this is a great design in its compact and storage versatility, and surprisingly comfortable. I now keep them in my car ready for any type of activity where sitting is preferable than standing. You can insert your own activity here. The size make this easy to grab when in doubt, and has often served as a life saver. Easily stored and low-profile. Almost no bigger or heavier than an umbrella. You will not complain taking it with you and will be rewarded by being rested and comfortable when you get up. If you carry a small inflatable pillow to sit on, you can really extend your comfort with this chair.

After several surgeries on my back I have trouble walking for a long time without sitting down to release the stress on my back by sitting down for a few minutes. I purchased this chair so I would be able to walk without having to worry that I would have no place to sit down.

Light, Compact and simply enough to set up in tight/small spaces…used on the movie set of Jurassic Park, and it was perfection to have on hand for long hours in jungle surroundings…bonus is it truly was small and light enough I could strap to my backpack and ride my motorcycle! I’m 5’5″ and 130lbs…a couple guys used it, but no one over 6’1 or 200lbs, so not sure how it would fair for those much larger…I personally found it very sturdy and felt safe on it.

this is the perfect portable stool to take a break on. I keep it outside on my porch year round, I do try to keep it from getting consistently rained on. I actually backpacked up a mountain with this and took a couple breaks. I weigh about 190lbs so it is sturdy for my purposes. Comfortable too but I have a pretty big posterior so that factors into my comfort level. I put it on the underside of my backpack and tied it down but this comes with an easy to use and unhook-able shoulder strap. would recommend this for backpacking, floating, or camping

We use this chair all the time when fishing or traveling. I bought it when my husband injurdered himself badly and couldn’t wade to fly fish. He was able to sue this stool and still fish, which was the goal. Since then, he leaves it in the back of his SUV and uses it all the time when we camp, picnic, or travel. It has nice sized feet that won’t sink in the dirt like other chairs.

I have lately fish in area that there is no room for camping chairs, these stools are the answer to limited space, They light but can handle my weight of 200 pounds easily, the material used in producing these are of high quality, and can take lots of punishment in harsh trains, A very good buy, and in fact soon I’ll be ordering another one for my son who is my fishing partner
