If you are considering buying a travel pillow, you cannot do much better than this one! Everything about it is as described. It blows up with just a few puffs, no little flapper inside the valve to squeeze for air to get in. And no air gets out if you stop blowing. To deflate, you merely touch the small pink button and nearly all the air comes out. You do not need to blow it up all the way because if you do, it will be much to thick and firm. About halfway full of air leaves the pillow soft and squishy like a real pillow. It is made from a coated fabric instead of rubber or plastic that could stretch and pop or deteriorate if left folded for a long time. Even though it will fold up to the size of a deck of cards, I intend to leave mine rolled up to avoid the material forming creases that might possibly crack over time. Yes, the pillow does crackle a bit in use, but if covered with a shirt or pillow case, this is minimized, especially if used as a lumbar cushion as I will be doing. Most bus, plane, and even rear car seats have too much incline to suit my particular back issue so I need a pillow available for almost all vehicles. However, it will also work as a sleeping pillow. The company offering this pillow contacted me before it arrived to offer their services in answering any questions I might have or problems I might encounter. I doubt I will need to contact them, because of the good quality here, but I appreciated the personal concern.

For years I’ve been going ‘minimalist’ in my camping, stuffing clothes into my sleeping bag stuff sac for my pillow at night. And invariably I would wake up throughout the night ‘fluffing’ the tshirts and socks I had wadded up in the sac or in the morning with my sore neck and often both. I then attempted to take some eggshell foam tied with string which was marginally better but hard to adjust the height and the size in my pack was more than I wanted. Begrudgingly I started looking into alternatives again, but I refused to take up more space and weight in the pack than absolutely necessary.

Wow, this thing is seriously small when packed down into its included stuff sack. Its about as big as the original Blackberry phone and roughly twice as thick. I can fit in a cargo packet with room to spare. It comes with good instructions and even other suggestions for use, such as a lower back support. I think this little gem will make my next tent camping adventure much more enjoyable. It also seems to be constructed really well. I have no doubt it will last me for years of use. Oh, and it doesn’t take much to blow it up for use. I recommend this product. The folks at Instant Camp seem to genuinely care about their customers because they emailed me as soon as i received it in the mail to be sure I was happy with the product.

Well, it is a pillow. If you are a side sleeper and normal to broad built shoulders, it is not high enough. Sleeping on your back, it keeps your head where you want without sliding around. No squeaking plastic like cheaper ones. I used a pillow case over it to help in comfort.

I purchased 2 of these pillows for a bike camping trip. I’ve seen a number of inflatable pillows that are often bigger than I want them to be. This pillow was as small as can be and very light. Perfect for bike camping or backpacking. I put a shirt around the pillow when using it and it was quite comfortable.

I have always just used the complementary pillows on airplanes and been okay with them, but during my recent trips, I was sure glad to have this inflatable pillow instead. I was able to use it as a great alternative pillow for my head, but it also doubled as lumbar-support during a 21-hour stay on an airplane. When not in use, it was able to be neatly and compactly stowed away in my backpack. It’s lightweight and incredibly small. It’s no bigger than a deck of playing cards! (see pictures) And don’t let its size fool you; durability is not compromised. Whether you’re an avid traveler or a backpacker who needs a compact, lightweight option, this is a solid purchase.

This is an amazing hiking pillow. It folds down really small, and weighs practically nothing. There is also a nice little stuff sack that is included. The pillow works best if you inflate it 1/2 way and then adjust from there. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a lightweight small pillow for hiking, camping, or traveling.

I wanted to fine a good quality and compact backpacking pillow. This is perfect. When folded up it is only slightly bigger than a deck of cards and the weight is insignificant. You’ll barely notice this in your pack. It comes with a travel case as well.
