I am so hard on my equipment for my art sales but this table lasted me for 6 YEARS!!! Fold out, fold up, fold out, fold up…. for 6 YEARS, thru all kinds of weather wind, 20 Degree Icy Weather & 100 Degree heat & everything in between. It finally wore out but only after I broke one of the connections by accident. This folding table is such a good partner in my business. The ALPS!!! You make an excellent product! I couldn’t even remember when I bought it. I had to look back into 6 years of records.

I just ordered a second one.

We have eight people scheduled for this year’s trip, and one table won’t be enough, so I ordered a second one. Each table can seat four diners. This thing seems light and insubstantial until you snap on the top and then it’s surprisingly solid. We bought our first one six or seven years ago and have been using it once or twice a year for week-long wilderness canoe trips. It’s been great with no problems. As you can see in the attached photo, this table is the center of camp life.

I drive a semi, and am trying to eat healthier by cooking my own food on the road. Well, I needed a table and found this little gem! Setup is less than a minute after using it a few times. Height is perfect to cook on with my $19 Coleman butane one burner cook top. Plenty of room for my food and condiments.

Aluminum Table

I recently purchased this to replace an old Coleman wooden table top with steel legs. I specifically chose this because the wood top on my old one rotted away and the legs started to rust after a few seasons: and i didn’t leave it out in the weather. This, however, is almost all aluminum. So no rot or rust. The assembly instructions sewn into the carry case are a bit confusing the first time out (and hard to read being in the bag), but once you figure it out its a snap. I used it for the first time when we fired up our outdoor grill for the first time this season and it was a tremendous help. Plus it only took a minute to set up and a minute to put away when we were done. It is light weight and very stable when assembled. I would recommend this to anyone who is limited on space and loves to cook out doors. This is an awesome grill companion or a nice side table for condiments and the like. I, myself, am a big guy and would not be able to sit down and eat at this table as the legs are too close to the outer edge of the large top.

You simply will not do better on keeping the weight down

You simply will not do better on keeping the weight down, and having a viable tabletop, mostly for your camp-stove. Well thought-out, light, easy, and for the naysayers tat think its complicated – WTF, Really?

Was very easy to put together and also easy to pack back …

This table came as advertised. Was very easy to put together and also easy to pack back up. We took it on an week long car camping trip and it suited are needs perfectly. Was sturdy enough for whatever we put on it and used it for (cooking and prep work). Would recommend this table to anyone who is looking for an inexpensive and easy to use camping table.

This very light table is rather delicate & not for heavy use. However, it’s great for airplane camping where compactness and weight are really important. Further, the table top is better than earlier reviews – light Al.

Love this thing for camping

Used this while car-camping all around the US, and now we use it on our deck at the house. Love it! Lightweight and simple to put together. Only cons are the cross bars underneath the tabletop hit our knees (not a huge deal) and you have to put more pressure than you would think is safe for plastic to get the tabletop to snap into place.

Very Functional

For $35 it’s well worth it. The slats are real aluminum, not silver colored plastic or vinyl coated particle board. I wanted something to put my portable BBQ grill on when I “stealth” barbecue on my apartment balcony. I also wanted it to be portable to serve double duty for road trips, car camping etc. This table does that. There are very few plastic parts, just the spacers and the sleeves where the braces connect to the legs (understandable for friction reduction purposes during assembly/disassembly) and it seems fairly well built and reasonably stable. It should last a while. ALPS seems to have found a niche between junk and over priced gear. I’m a gear snob when it comes to backpacking, so ALPS isn’t in my vocabulary in that regard, but for car camping and general recreational use I appreciate ALPS for its reasonably priced, reasonably well-constructed gear.
