Finally got to use this hammock last night. I’ve been anxious waiting to get to break it out on a camping trip. Hammock is comfortable, breathes well, and was easy to set up. Held both me and my fiancée, no problem. Liked the double hammock so much, I think I’m going to get a single hammock for myself on my solo trips. Overall, this hammock is a high-quality product, which is reasonably priced. Hard to beat that.

Good quality and comfortable!

I love my new hammock ErgaLogik! I’ve always wanted a hammock and was super excited when it showed up. It comes packed into a little pouch that is actually part of the hammock so if hardly takes up any space in storage.

Smarter hammock, in a sea of similarity

Among the myriad seemingly similar hammocks on offer these days, this one stands out for straddling the rope/strap divide by providing rope with wide sleeves to protect tree bark. The part that touches tree bark is the only part that needs to be wide; otherwise, in all ways, rope is better than webbing. The rope supplied is tied into an ersatz daisy chain, which is daft (tying a knot at the proper position takes 4 seconds; pretying a series of knots simply shortens the rope for the benefit of people who can’t tie an overhand knot). It seems to be an attempt to match the convenience of daisy-chain straps, which in turn are an attempt to make up for the major deficiency of straps: they knot poorly so must be doubled and laboriously sewn into incremental attachment points. In other words, here’s rope mimicking webbing’s elaborate method of being almost as good at the job as rope.

Great for hiking and camping but I prefer a rope hammock for the yard

This Hamic is really neat. It is just perfect for those who like to go camping, hiking for trail walking outdoors. The Hamic comes with an attached pouch. This hammock also comes with the tree straps and hooks so you don’t have to purchase them separately, like you do with most other hammocks. My husband and I, unfortunately, had to use some different tree straps that we had already owned because the straps that are included with six are meant for a smaller tree. Our trees are too fat.

great deal

I hike and camp as often as I can. Probably more than most. When I hike camp, I hate carrying a tent because it is so darn heavy. If I was car camping that would not be an issue. But having to lug all that gear up and down trails and back takes a toll. I recently got into hammock camping. I have now own a few hammocks and found out what I like and do not like about each one. I decided to try this one out because of the weight it can hold. It is considered a double hammock and can hold up to 400 pounds. I use this just for myself so that is more than enough. I like that it also comes with straps. Most other hammock brands out there make you purchase them separate. These straps are not as good though as the others on the market. They do not have loops to adjust for the distance between trees. These are fixed in length. You can make adjustments only by knotting the rope. Yes this is a rope style strap. Not the flat nylon or polyester ones you find elsewhere. But they work. There is some flex in the straps. Not too keen on that, but hey they were free with the hammock. The hammock is like any other expensive hammock on the market. The stitching is great and the material is the same. I love the color. I got a 2 tone black and white. I do not usually buy two tone hammocks just for strength purposes. But I do like the white on this one.

portable and lightweight camping hammock. easy to rig up.

My old hammock was destroyed when I left it outside during a rain storm, so I wanted one that was easy to set up and take down. This one comes with carabiners so it can be easily hooked to any anchor and just as easily unhooked and packed away in the attached bag. It was easy to setup and was comfortable to sleep in for me (I’m 6’5″). The material is thin; which is good for pack weight, but if it’s the least bit chilly out you will get cold.

Amazing hammock you won’t regret buying

I bought an ENO hammock a few weeks ago and then recently purchased this hammock. In comparison to the ENO, this hammock is very nice for the price. The quality of the actual hammock feels thicker than my ENO, but the rope/ caribeener/ straps are okay. They definitely do the job, but they do not feel as strong as the ENO. All in all, you CANNOT go wrong buying this hammock. The 25$ price is unbeatable, and I might purchase a second one of these for a friend.

Received this little gem in the green this weekend and love it! The included tree straps are super easy to use and set up only took a couple of minutes. I especially enjoy the compact way the hammock and straps pack up. I even taught my 10 year-old son to set it up and he had it mastered the first time out. I highly recommend this hammock. Additionally, I chose the green and gray color scheme not only because I preferred those colors, but it was a few dollars cheaper than the other colors. Great value and I think I will pick up a couple more for the kids so they will leave mine alone!
