Over the past 20 years, I’ve gone through a lot of headlamps for night-time running and dog romps. This one is THE BEST. Most headlamps do the job and are mostly indistinguishable from each other, with a few extra lumens here and there. This one hits on all the typical functionality cylinders: 160 lumens for excellent illumination and a headband that is adjustable and doesn’t constrict or allow the lamp to bounce. Yeah, so what? True for most headlamps. The difference is in the lighting options. Some headlamps allow you to choose between red light or white light (maybe also flashing or non-flashing with each) but not both at the same time. There’s also the added annoyance with other headlamps of one button to cycle through all the options.

Great headlamp. Blinding light. Just what I needed during a power outage. Ordered June 20 (without Prime), arrived July 5. Solid construction, headband expands to fit the largest head or over a hat, 5 adjustable lamp positions, lightweight. Takes 2 seconds to install the 3 AAA supplied batteries. Perfect for reading to pass the time during a power outage, but don’t look in a mirror with lamp on or you’ll blind yourself. Seriously. I couldn’t be happier and recommend this headlamp. Unless you need one for extremely rugged outings where you’d need some heavy duty product that is also waterproof (this one is water resistant, though) and are willing to spend more, this is all you need.

This little light is amazing. The advancement of LED technology in the last 10 years is incredible. I purchased a LED flash light about 6 years ago for $60US and it was and still is a great light. This headlamp, though, for 12 bucks is actually brighter and throws light farther. The bream easily reaches 50 yards. I actually can’t believe it’s brightness. The light is super compact and light weight. I will use this for lightweight backpacking. I’ll be buying more of these to give as an inexpensive gift for my friends.

My LED headlight is great—comfortable to wear, three different light intensities, comes with batteries. I’ve already worn it while walking after dark on a road that has no sidewalk. Next time I lose power during a storm, I will have a light that keeps my hands free. Excellent item at a good price.

I bought this light 6 months ago after researching all of the different headlamps available on Amazon. I spent a lot of time digging through all of the lights and reading reviews. I went with this one and it’s perfect! I use the light for running at night and early morning. The headlamp is very lightweight and stays in place. It is not bulky and once I’m running I forget it’s on my head. The brightness is adjustable (highbeam and lowbeam) which is a great feature. I actually use the lowbeam because the highbeam is actually too bright (this is a good thing!!). The most important feature is the TILT. I researched many of these lights that just point straight forward. Well I don’t run with my neck craned toward the ground so what’s the point of having a light that points straight ahead. This light has adjustable tilt so you can run with your head up and the light still hitting the ground in front of you. You can adjust it to any tilt that you prefer. For me this was a must have feature for running. I use this light 3-4 times per week and it’s one of the best purchases I have ever made for running. I shop on amazon all the time and this is one of the very few reviews I’ve ever bothered to write. The product is that perfect.

I wanted an inexpensive headlamp to keep in my car for roadside emergencies/repairs. This light is very bright and has a few options for white or red lights. Exactly what I expected and I am pleased with the performance, especially for the price. I have another headlamp with more lighting options or modes but it was also more expensive. I can’t speak to long term use or durability but so far so good.

Nice , I bought it just in case I lose power it’ll be easier to get the fireplace going and things of that nature. I have found other uses for it like using the red light in the dark so I don’t lose my night vision. It works extremely well for that. I wish I had one of these for all the years I owned a fairly large boat and when you’re driving at night you cannot afford to lose your night vision. Well made I would recommend.

Loving the headlamp. I’m a quilter and when I do handwork it was challenging to get my floor lamp bright enough and shine on the area I was working on. This does an amazing job.

Two white light levels for camping and close or far work. Red for working at night with cameras and spotting scope. Option to have both on at once. Lightweight, but with a secure headband. Even came with a decent set of batteries. A fine lower price choice for general purpose and/or kid use.
