I like to keep track of my dog while he’s wandering the yard after dark. I have tried numerous flashlights to help keep him in sight. Previous LED flashlights would be very bright, and light up a wide circle, but only for about 10-15 feet away, which was OK if I kept up with my dog (a nearly impossible task). I did find an incandescent flashlight with an adjustable beam that let me see him up to about 30 feet away, but I still had to follow him around. This is the first hi-lumen adjustable LED flashlight that I have tried, and I am VERY IMPRESSED with it! This flashlight, allows me to stand at the back door of the house and see my dog when he is against the back wall of the yard. The back wall is 104.88ft from the back door (laser measured)! On the other side of that back wall is a park that has a clock tower in it. At night, the city lights glowing behind it let me make out the outline of the tower, but I cannot see the clock. This flashlight lets me see the face of the clock from about 400ft away (again, laser measured)!
Very solid construction, high quality build.

For the money, this is a very nice LED light. While I do not have a light meter, the unit I received compares very well against other lights I own. I am impressed they have polarity protection against someone inserting batteries incorrectly burning out the LED. The adjustable zoom on the beam angle is very easy and quick to use. Even the crenellated shield around the bezel as a self defense strike tool is a nice touch. In my opinion, for a fraction of the price of name brand lights this is a bargain.
Amazingly bright, much brighter than I had anticipated! Gets nice and warm too

Ok. This is not something that you should mount to a rifle. But for a vehicle/home light device, perfect I bought 4 of these. 2 with slimmer syling and 2 with this more aggressive style. They illuminate identically and weightthe same. Slimmer version is better for pocket or pouch carry if required. It is rather large for edc or pocket carry long term. Then end cap does not glow in the dark. Waterproof. Doubt it. Water resistent. Maybe, but use common sense here. There is no pocket clip but just cheap strap. 18650 batteries are not cheap but they last a long time. Get rechargeables!!

Tactical flashlight … another “must have” gadget for me. Unfortunately, the market is flooded with them. Deciding which one to get was simply a matter of price and added features … the REFUN XML-T6 (600 lumens) proved to be a wise choice.
