I have had a very traumatic experience with bed bugs. Mostly because out of 5 people sleeping here, I was the only one getting bitten, I has having a severe allergic reaction to the bites, one on my leg got to be the size of a small saucer plate, and most of them were so bright red and about the size of a quarter to half dollar people would ask me how I got burnt. Luckily it’s been a little cooler so I could wear clothes that covered them up. The traumatic part was the severe itch which was more like pain, no OTC medicine would touch it, but I couldn’t figure out what it was. My nephew had bb a few years ago, and he was the only one bit not his wife or two girls, but they found hundreds when they pulled back the mattress/box springs. So he told me that they ordered this, an although they had to bag every stitch of clothing they owned, they sprayed every inch of the house, and didn’t have to worry as soon as it was dry it was safe for the kids. So I ordered the small bottle, not even knowing what exactly I had. Having had fleas from our cats years ago, and spending hundreds on otc sprays and bombs that didn’t work, $150 for an exterminator was well worth it, so I said I would never buy the otc stuff, just go straight to the exterminator. But not knowing what it was made it difficult. I called several, and one wanted $95 just to come out and see if they could find one, I had been doing every thing I could find on the internet, and he said the minimum was $1500 to spray for them (we have 4 bedrooms, so I’m assuming the minimum would be one bedroom) and the heat treatment was $2500. The one I had used for the fleas asked me the square footage and how many bedrooms and gave me a quote of $800 with $200 if they had to come back. He said he could come and look, but I have already been doing everything, except removing the covers from the light switches and outlets, which I did and found a few dead bugs, and I found 4 total but took them in and he said no that it was just a harmless beetle. So I ordered this thinking I had to do something, an got it on a Wednesday night so with my work schedule I sprayed some but didn’t have much time to work on it until the weekend, and spent a lot of the weekend vacuuming, bagging clothes and spraying. (and hunting for bugs UGH!) No signs of them anywhere, we had even bought white sheets because they are supposed to leave trails but we saw nothing. Now my husband thinks I’ve lost my mind I’ve been washing our sheets daily and vacuuming for weeks. So after all my hard work over the weekend, NO more bites on Monday, but then one small one on Tuesday (but in my research I see it can take hours, days, even weeks to show any signs). To make it even more interesting, we had planned a trip to another state to see my daughter and grandkids that I haven’t seen in 5 months. Wondering if I should cancel, but not even knowing what it was. So it was a challenge to pack. Everything we were taking was washed and but directly into a plastic bag out of the dryer. Our suit cases were sprayed, I took way less than normal clothes! Everything was in ziplock baggies. I vacuumed and sprayed the jeep, and our clothes we were wearing came out of the dryer right before we got dressed. This was on Thursday morning and two days now with no bites. No bites then we came home and I figured they would be waiting for me, but no bites the first night. Then the next day I wake up with 4 and 5 more popped up during the day. But still no signs of them. I talked my husband into dismantling the bed frame. We have a waterbed frame but a regular mattress (and btw when I first suspected these I bought the zipper covers for every bed in the house). So I couldn’t get Under the bed, but was spraying between the cracks of the board that was supporting the mattress. This board was pressed wood, the kind that looks like a bunch of wood chips melted together. So after taking the bed apart, I was expecting to see a whole nest of these. But, we found 1. My husband took the wood chip board outside and set it on fire. I have been so worried about sending these home with my son and grandkids, I bought another bottle just in case if I get one bite, or if they have any signs we’ll be able to start right away. I bought used bunk beds for my grandsons to sleep in when they stay here, and they had slept in them several times so apparently aren’t being bitten or showing any signs. It’s a lot of hard work, but I’m pretty confident I have kicked these in the butt! You can spray it on curtains, wood, rugs, couches clothes, blankets and it doesn’t stain. It’s safe for kids and pets as soon as it dries. Even if an exterminator would have came and sprayed for this high price, I would have still had to do all the work of bagging, washing and vacuuming, so this saved me hundreds if not over a thousand dollars! It’s been two weeks now, and no bites at all. I’m still vacuuming and spraying to be sure there are no eggs, but I would recommend this to anyone!

Don’t get me wrong, I like bugs, but I was mortified when I found bedbugs on my son’s mattress! Having the multitude of horror stories about how difficult they are to get rid of now swimming in my head, I scoured the internet for advice, products, reviews, and figuring out the best course of action before settling on this product.

Stop paying someone to do your pest control. Use this, read the entire instructions and precautions before using. It is tremendously safe, unless you are a bug. I have used this for multiple properties, and my business’ for the past 4 years. I have yet to encounter a living pest inside. I do not play around when it comes to bugs and was spending so much on ortho- and raid type pest control chemicals with mixed results. The one constant I did experience with other pest control items was, I was always buying more of it at $18-$30 and still seeing bugs. I would end up calling out a pest control expert and that was when I saw a bottle of this in the van one day and did my research. This saves me $1,500-$2,500 a year on pest control services and chemicals for my business and properties. PLEASE READ THE ENTRE INSTRUCTIONS, it is not hard.

We had a huge problem with boxelder bugs(also called brick bugs) every fall until I found out about Tempo SC. We tried everything we could find and nothing even slowed them down. I spray this twice about 2 weeks apart. It kills them fairly quickly and stay on the surface if it doesn’t rain. It does let them walk around for a while and spread it to other boxelder bugs. If you come back the next day there are piles of dead box elder bugs. It seems to be fairly innocuous to fish, pets, etc. and breaks down in a few weeks. The eight ounce bottle makes about 30 gallons and lasted me about five or six years.
