I bought this Yeti Rambler 18 and a COLDEST water bottle then did some comparison tests just to see if the Rambler’s price is justified. Here’s the result of my non scientific tests.

I’ve been looking for a water bottle for a few months. I carry water with me everywhere, and I get attached to it. It’s a relationship. It’s one of those things in life, like your favorite bowl.
Dont let the size scare you! Looks big at first, but it is a great size!

My job has me on the road 5 days a week behind a windshield for a large amount of time. I found myself thirsty most of the time and have been a fan of the Yeti products in the past. I went to a local Dicks sporting goods recently and looked at these, but my first impression led me to skip buying at the time because it simply looked too big.
You get what you pay for.

I may not have fully appreciated Yeti until I received a competitor’s flask as a gift. Yeti keeps liquids both hot and cold (not all at once . . .) far longer than it should take for anyone to want to drink what’s inside–that’s more than 24 hours. How amazing to find that the ice I put into the flask is still there the next morning, or that the coffee I made in the morning is still hot by late afternoon. Yets doesn’t give these things away, but any regrets from having forked out what they charge you quickly dissipates as you enjoy using it. PS–the gift flask was touted as being “as good as a Yeti for a fraction of the price.” But ice water reached room temperature and coffee was cold in a matter of hours. You get what you pay for.

One of my coworkers recommended this to me and OMG it’s amazing!! I put a couple ice cubes and some water in it in the morning and when I get home from work those ice cubes are still there keeping round after round of water cold. And it doesn’t “sweat” at all. I love this thing!

Love the Yeti rambler!! Keeps drinks cold in South Florida conditions. Left it in my car all day. When I pulled it out after work the metal was hot but there was still ice and cold water inside. Great seal, doesn’t leak.

July in Dallas kept ice for 3 days outdoors. What else can you say? It’s worth every single penny. Now it is in Saudi Arabia on an expat camp doing rugby and softball duty and is the talk of the town.
