I purchased two of these chairs and they are work great. We needed a few chairs for our new RV but the space in the bays is limited. These chairs take up very little room, are easy to setup, and meet our needs for camp chairs. I had experience with a competitors chair but decided to go with this TrekUltra chair because the Helinox chairs were out of stock. The Trek Ultra’s were not only cheaper, they are equally comfortable, equally easy to setup and take down, and they are advertised to hold more weight. I also like the Trek Ultra’s bigger feet-knobs. They seem to help keep the chair from sinking into the soil.

My family of 5 went on a 3 week long road trip across the country this summer and this chair was the best. We had a very tightly packed car since we were camping some, staying at a hotel some and going to Disneyland. We had no extra room to spare but these chairs not only packed well in the car but also in our backpacks when we were hiking and exploring. We set them up before we left and figured out how hard we could pull on the canvas and poles. My husband is 6’4″ and 215 and sat in them comfortably. They were great for around the campfire and on the beach. Since getting them home we have used them at soccer games, outdoor concerts and other outdoor events. Since we no longer use a stroller it is great to have a chair that is easy to carry.

Was looking for a chair that could handle my weight yet be small enough to strap to the top of a rolling cooler for the several events I attend each year. The add said it was good up to 350 pounds, I am 300 and it held me just fine. As far as set up, I clicked on the setup video but didn’t even watch it since as soon as I took the rubber band off the skeleton section it unfolded and took mere seconds to get connected. Stretching the fabric was a little tough but really not bad. I sat in it, really wondering if I would end up on the ground, but it held and I sat in it for a while moving around and it held firm. Really, the toughest part of the whole chair is getting it small enough to put back in the bag. It took two tries, but I got it. All in all, this seems to be a great chair and I am glad I bought it.

We travel a lot, and this chair has been perfect: light weight but sturdy and so compact that we don’t have to worry about it even when we fly. A wonderful beach chair! Easy to shake the sand off of before packing it back up into it’s carrying bag so the rest of our luggage isn’t covered with sand. It’s our second chair and we love them both!

Love it! Got one of these recently to use at the park and other outdoor activities with my children. I wanted a chair that would pack up small so I can throw it in the bottom of the stroller with everything else. This chair is amazing! Very lightweight and compact, but so incredibly sturdy. It is lower to the ground than my regular camp chair, but that didn’t compromise the comfort. It takes a little bit of effort to set up the first time, but after that it is really easy – less than a minute.

I am throwing out all my other folding chairs! This chair is so small and lightweight that I was skeptical about its comfort but it really delivered. They say it can hold up to 400 lbs and I believe it. It’s very sturdy and once I figured out how to put it together (from watching the video) it was simple. I took it to an outdoor concert in the park last night and I was very comfortable all night. Love the shoulder strap, I just threw it over my shoulder and went.
They are a perfect fit and leave plenty of room for gear

I bought two of these to keep in the saddlebags of our motorcycles. They are a perfect fit and leave plenty of room for gear. We even carried them into Asheville NC on our backs to watch music. These chairs are made well. We’ve used them many times with no issues. Our friends are all planning on getting some.
