I was happy to see this come in the mail! Planning on several hiking excursions this summer with my 13 year old. I bought two. After hiking on the Long Trail with my sister, and sleeping on uneven grounds, with a roll out pad, I really wanted something more for our next adventure. Once I received the Hikenture sleeping pad, I quickly opened it and blew it up! It really does take minimal breathes to fill this up. I love the locking feature that allows air in but not out between each breath. My daughter and I tested it on our hard wood floors and couldn’t feel the cold or the hardness of the flooring This will be great for sleeping in our rough plywood treehouse floors too. Once the snow melts we will be on our way!

Nice product and good value. Eggcrate design is clever to cut weight yet comfort is quite good on both back and side position (male, 6’2″ 180lbs). I backpack with my kids so really try to cut ounces carried wherever possible (I carry all their stuff and mine so ounces add up quick). Weight is even lighter than claimed – 15.8oz with stuff sack, 15.3 without. Nice that the design includes a pillow, eliminating the need to carry one, cutting even more ounces carried. I’ll probably pick up a couple more for our summer trips. Only ding on the design is I wish there were separate valves for pillow and body because keeping the body firm enough to cushion from the ground requires that the pillow also be max inflated and stiff. Ideally I’d prefer slightly underinflating my pillow for a bit more squishiness. Not that big a deal so still giving it 5 stars.

Great customer service.

I bought this for a camping trip through multiple national parks. I loved the initial size and color. I was not as pleased with the thickness. When I expressed my concern (I had to go to an outdoor store and buy one that was thicker), the company, Hikenture, contacted me and resolved my issue. They were very proactive and I am very grateful. Great customer service truly comes to light when there is a problem and the company is quick to listen and fix the issue. They made some suggestions for some ways the pad might work well and I will try their suggestions.

I have used this on several camping trips. It’s light, rolls up very small, inflates just just a few puffs, and holds the air all night. It breaks down easy in the morning and am ready to hit the trail again.

nice and light

Bought it for my wife, I think I like it more than the one I have (which cost more). 12 breaths to inflate, easy to roll back up and deflate.

I will say my first purchase was unpleasant. I purchased two and they both went flat writhing the hour of laying on them. After contacting customer support they sent two more right away. They were very eager to help and make sure that I had a pleasant experience and had a good working product. The new ones I got work perfect and hope they continue to work as expected. They do come with a one year product warranty which is nice.

I knew I needed something lightweight and that could easily fit into my bag

I recently ordered this sleeping pad for my trip to South Africa. We are planning on camping several nights and as I am planning one checked bag for a two week journey, I knew I needed something lightweight and that could easily fit into my bag. The Hikenture sleeping pad seems like it will fit the bill. I’ve actually used it for two nights on a tile floor just to see how it would hold up against a hard, uncomfortable surface. I slept like a rock. It’s comfortable, lightweight and hopefully holds up for the trip I’m taking.
