Hands down, best dove stool on the market.

I’ve seen my friends fumble around in the field with other inferior dove stools, but luckily I was smart enough to get it right. The best feature of this stool is the swivel top. Almost any other stool will restrict your field of view / range of motion to whatever is right in front of you or visible in your lateral periphery. The swivel top allows you to rotate in a complete circle if you desire, ensuring you are never again surprised by that single that snuck up from behind you. Once you get used to this mobility, any other stool becomes unusable. I’ve let friends borrow it and they all want to know where to get one of their own.

Well worth the money

Been looking for this seat for a long time but had no idea who made it, then one day I was reading an article in an outdoor magazine which had a picture of the seat and who it was made by. A quick search on Amazon and boom there it was. A few quick clicks of the mouse and boom I bought one. It’s everything I expected it to be can’t wait to put to use in the upcoming seasons.

I have enjoyed using this product. My only complaint is that it did not last as long as I hoped. Bottom of the seat cracked; I still use it, but it is a matter of time before I have to repair it more. I have been tough on this product during dove and some duck hunting seasons.

This is a very nice, heavy duty hunting swivel stool.

This is a very nice, heavy duty hunting swivel stool. However, be forewarned that you will sit tall on this stool. This stool makes me sit way too tall for my ground deer blinds, but is great for dove and duck hunting or hunting behind my Ghost Blind. If you need a shorter stool without the swivel seat, try the “ALPS OutdoorZ Dual Action Stool” which is a great seat seat as well.

Nice but big and heavy!

It needs more than a sling, it needs shoulder straps. The sling don’t do well with a long walk. Also, it would be nice to have telescoping legs to level the stool. Other than these suggestion, it’s a well built stool.

Swivel stool legs should be adjustable for shorter people

THe swivel stool was wonderful, but it is a little too high for my husband, who is on the shorter side. It would be great if the legs were adjustable for different heights.

Almost perfect…

As someone with a disality, this is a great stool, and has really helped me to get out hunting. However, the heavy duty construction and the swivel cushion combine to make it fairly heavy. The strap is good, but to carry this kind of weight you need to lift the padded part of the strap over your head and put it on your opposite shoulder. That creates a lot of neck strain. I am going to look into buying a second strap, and attatching it to the opposite end of the frame, so that the stool could be carried like a back pack. My suggestion to the manufacturer is to do the same during construction; that second strap would make this product perfect.
