One feature not listed: the Shard interacts strongly with magnets. A strong magnet can be stuck to a wall or fridge to keep it handy, or stick a magnet to the Shard to extend the magnetism to the tool when working with metal items.

I always have a knife on me but am guilty of using the blade for things other than cutting. Started looking at tools like this to prolong the edge/life of my knives. My first purchase was the 2″ titanium Widgy bar. Very cool, light as feather (literally) but maybe a bit too small. Tried a Swiss Tech Utili-Key but it was kind of awkward and hard to open. So I ordered the Gerber Shard.

I actually bought this more as a joke since I was buying something else. It has proven to be very handy. The pry bar works good as a standard screw driver and the philips side also works well. I have tried the bottle opener multiple times and it gets the cap off the first time. The pry bar end has also taken the place of my pocket knife when opening products/boxes. It isn’t very sharp but it is just enough to bust the tape and get through the twisties.

Honestly, people giving this less than three stars are pretty ridiculous. Reading through the one star reviews were laughable, one person was actually trying to make a point that you should just go with this other option, which was five times as much. Seriously people, how do you give this a negative review unless you really had no clue what you were buying. “No worries, I won’t read the description, or pay attention to the fact that it’s $6”
Good little tool

Fits perfectly on my keychain; good little tool for the price. I was really only looking for a better looking bottle opener compared to my old aluminum one. This fits that bill, and adds some useful tools. I would say the pry-bar/straight head is the most useful; aside from the bottle opener of course. The Phillips may be a bit small to actually use on most screw heads.
Quite small and quite useful

I had been looking at this for a while as something handy and fun to add to my EDC (everyday carry). The opportunity came up to add it to an order so as to get free shipping and I did it. I wish I had just purchased it sooner! This little guy comes in so handy that when I recently let a friend borrow my keys, I felt naked without it all day.
Worth the money and I’ve only had it for like a week

This keychain is a handy mans multi tool that fits perfectly on my keychain! I have used all three of the screw drivers so far and they work great for smaller screws, also the sharp end works great as a box cutter. I use it at work all the time for that. At home I use the tool to open beers. I have yet to use the pry bar but I will probably end up finding a use for it soon. I only have good things to say about this keychain. For people that say that it is too small what were you expecting? This is a slim minimal model that is meant to compact.
