The Pillow Rest is equipped with a quality-tested, 20.8-gauge, waterproof flocked top, along with 15-gauge vinyl beams and 16-gauge sides and bottom. The resulting surface is comfortable and secure, whether you're sleeping at the in-laws' overcrowded house or setting up a guest bed in the basement. In addition, the Pillow Rest is remarkably easy to inflate thanks to the built-in, high-powered electric pump, which does its job in a mere three minutes. No more fussing with tiring hand or foot pumps or rummaging through the garage for your detached electric pump. And should the mattress feel a little too soft or firm, you can customize the comfort level with the touch of a button.

The Pillow Rest is raised 18 inches from the floor, making it far taller than most inflatable mattresses, and includes built-in pillows for added comfort. And at 39 by 18 by 75 inches (W x H x L), the mattress is an official twin size, making it a good fit for fitted sheets. The Pillow Rest–which offers a capacity of 300 pounds–comes with an AC power cord, a shoulder strap, and a duffel bag.

Regarding Inflation: Measurements will vary based on the manner in which it is inflated and packaging disclaims “approximate size”. Airbeds are measured from the widest point including the beams (bulges) on the side and off the tallest point from the floor including built-in pillows if applicable. Location, temperature, and humidity will affect the airbed’s firmness. Airbeds will need to be occasionally re-inflated (topped off) to maintain desired firmness when used for more than a few days as vinyl tends to relax over time.

My wife and I were in need of an air bed. I had surgery on my leg this week, and it was decided that I’d have our regular bed to myself for a few weeks. So we needed a place for my wife to sleep, as several weeks on the sofa isn’t a great idea. So I set out looking for an air bed. We didn’t know one brand from another, so it came down to reviews and price.

So fantastic I bought a second one! Easy inflate and deflate, stores beautifully and stays inflated all night. My son and I use these to sleep on cold gym floors while we are living in schools during drum corp season. They are high enough off the ground we never get cold and set up is a FAST piece of cake. Stop looking….you won’t find anything nicer and more reliable for the price!

I purchased the Intex pillow rest raised twin size inflatable air bed for an emergency visit to my sister’s home. The bed was ordered a few days in advance and was waiting on me when I arrived. It was very late into the evening when I opened the box and immediately set up the bed within a few minutes without a problem. It was extremely easy and amazed both my sister and me as it practically set itself up once it was plugged in and the dial was turned to inflate. I was so impressed and I plan to purchase additional beds for my own home to accomodate guests. The bed was comfortable. My mother, who suffers from dementia, arose during the night and came into my room and got on the bed with me. Luckily we are both small women and we both slept well on the bed. Our combined weight would be about 210 pounds and the bed held both of us without a problem. I highly recommend this bed to anyone who needs an extra bed. I slept on the bed for approximately two weeks and did not wake up tired or achey.

This inflate-a-bed does not disappoint!

What an amazing deal! It’s a real bed in a bag! So simple to inflate/deflate. Electric pump and cord keeper built in to side of bed. AND it comes with a really nice zippered storage/carrying case. If that’s not enough reason to buy this very inexpensive portable bed it’s super comfortable too! Perfect for company and camping! I got the twin but I’m so impressed I’m going to purchase another in the Queen size just in case the need should arise!

No, it is NOT leaking y’all!

Excellent value. I was confused by reading the customer reviews on this. They were either, “it’s awesome,” or, “it’s awful due to leaking.” So I decided it was worth a try. After it arrived, I inflated it. It began to become deflated over a day. I wondered if it was leaking or stretching. I refilled. It slowly deflated over a day. Again, I wondered if it was leaking or stretching. A third day, it deflated and I refilled. I’ve left it up for a week. It is no longer deflating. Therefore, I would say that the material has to stretch out. It is NOT leaking, and the material has to STRETCH! This is exactly what the card in the box tells you. Be patient. Give it a try. It’s a great air bed and a great price. People need to give things a chance.
