Mambe Extreme Waterproof/Windproof Outdoor Blanket, Camping Blanket and Stadium Blanket with Premium Stuff Sack

I have owned a Mambe extreme blanket for just over a year and it has proven one of the best outdoor gear investments I have made in a long time. My family does a lot of activities outdoors here in Oregon like hiking, cross-country skiing, and visiting the coast. Often, wind and rain are part of these outings and this blanket has warmed us after playing in the surf, shielded us from cold mountain rain storms, and served as a warm, dry picnic blanket we can throw down on the snow in the back country.

This blanket is extremely warm compared to many other blankets I have used over the years. My son plays sports and I have spent about a million hours freezing until this baseball season! The only thing that would make it better is if it was made with arms, legs and a hood so I could just zip myself up in it. The small is sized for one person only so if you are planning on sharing go for the larger size.

This is the best waterproof blanket ever EVER. We have used this blanket in every type of weather and I cannot say enough about it! We have 3 boys so we are always attending some type of sporting event. Last month when it was sunny, we folded it over and it served as a cushy bench seat and my boys like to hide under it to block the sun and play their electronics 🙂 Last week, it was chilly and windy and we used it as a blanket and it cut the wind. I was so nice and toasty that my friends wanted to come under my blanket also – it was big enough for 3 adults to share! Tonight, we had a football game in crazy pouring down rain – it was so windy that umbrellas were useless. I wrapped myself in my waterproof blanket and watched the whole game. I was warm, I stayed dry – it was perfect. If you are hesitating about the price – just do it. It was worth every penny – The fleece quality is outstanding and high quality – nothing I have compares to it. I also bought an extreme weather poncho blanket (one with a hood and pockets in the blanket)- we use both all the time. Thank you Mambe Blankets – you have made my whole family very happy!!

The Mambie extreme blanket is one of the warmest camping blankets you can have. My son uses it on his winter scout camp as a base for his sleeping bag. He is toasty warm while all the other kids complain about the cold. It is easily washed in the washing machine and folds up small enough to fit in his pack.

If you have to spend any lenght of time outdoors you MUST buy one. Yes I know it’s expensive but it is sooo worth it. The first game in freezing temperatures you will be thankful you spluged and got one of these for you. I’m thinking I could sell these things because anyone who shares it with me winds up buying one. Not kidding – you need to get one.

The best blanket! Its worth the money…keeps me warm during the coldest days on the soccer and LAX fields! I purchased the XL and its perfect.

While expensive, this blanket is well worth the money. It is wind and water proof and very warm. It is not the typical “decorative” stadium blanket. It will keep you warm in windy and damp conditions. At sporting events I see so many people with thin fleece blankets complaining that they are cold and that blanket doesn’t block the wind. This one will block the wind and rain and keep you warm. We have used it regularly for sporting events and as a picnic blanket for over a year now, and it is showing only the very slightest signs of wear.

Awesome blanket. Bought for sports and camping however, after my wife used it once it came inside and she uses it in the bed. Guess will need another one for the truck. Very plush with great materials and craftsmanship.

Just yesterday I was at the pool with my friends in Southern California and it was probably low 60s and I was cold when I got out but with this blanket I was able to warm up within a few minutes ( I got the large) by wrapping it up around me. I almost didn’t want to change out of my wet swimsuit I was so cozy. My friends are convinced the blanket is great too and they might even get one. But I had a great night sitting by the fire with my friends and I didn’t need a jacket as I just put this bad boy on my lap. I have also used it in Bishop on a climbing trip it helped block the crazy winds. I Think that this will work really well for any time getting out of a pool (more frequent use) and then when I go car camping for sure.

Product came on time and is a great product! This blanket would serve equally well as a picnic blanket or an outdoor game/concert blanket. Definitely blocks wind on one side and is soft and fleecy on the other. I will use this for all of the above!
