After your kids outgrow the diaper bag, you still need something to carry around all their crap. Snacks, water bottles, an umbrella, and extra pair of clothes. You with me, parents?

I bought this for a day hike in the Grand Canyon, I needed something on the smaller side. It is great, and I’m very happy with the purchase. It has lots of nice pockets and places to store things. Has a spot for a camelback as well, although I don’t have one so haven’t used that yet. The zippers are high quality and easy to use. It’s super lightweight and compact but you can also stuff more things in there than you would expect at first. I’ve only had it a short while, but it seems like it will be durable. And Osprey has a lifetime guarantee, so if anything goes wrong with it ever you can send it back for a new one.

Oh my gosh I am obsessed with this backpack. It’s so light! I have the Osprey Ariel 65 backpacking pack so I need something that can attached to it’s add on system for a month long trip to Thailand. I have a 13″ Macbook Pro Retina that fits perfectly in a travel case in the back pocket of the pack. I also have a small camera insert for my Nikon D5200 with extra lens that fits like a glove at the bottom of the bag. That leaves extra room in the first compartment and the rest of the main compartment for extra clothes, snacks, etc. It’s seriously perfect. I tried other Osprey packs with a laptop protected section and they were all just way to big!

Great size and great for running.

Use it every morning to run to work. Just big enough to fit two days of clothes if you pack smart.

The PERFECT backpack for gym lockers.

I bought this backpack to fill the minimalist role on any day hike I wanted to take with my family. Since it also has a water pouch it fills 2 rolls at once. The pack itself is light but holds plenty considering its size. My use consists of caring water and snacks for the family. It does this task perfectly. Its comfortable for all day hikes even with a large water pouch. If you are looking for a minimalist day pack I don’t think you can do better than this one.

Not that I have anything against the diaper bag, but with the youngest more or less potty trained… yeah, yeah, I’ll spare you.

Pack is lite and fabric is thin, haven’t used it during rainy weather so may have to buy a different bag for bad weather adventures not sure yet. Went hiking on a fairly hot day and the pack sat on my back very comfortably. The straps and buckles all seem sturdy and worked just fine when I needed to use them. What I didn’t like was the foam material on the back seems to cause a lot of perspiration or I was just extremely hot and sweaty lol! I was able to fit my Canon Camera in there with extra t-shirt, lightweight jacket, eventually my 32oz water bottle because the bottle carrier on the outside does not do a good job of holding it. The pouches are slanted at the top so that may be why the water bottle kept falling out..

4 countries in 6 months! Love this pack, but there’s room for improvement.

I have been using this pack every day for the last 2 months, and I have to say that it is a great, all-purpose day pack. I have used it hiking, weekend traveling, kayaking, at music festivals, and on longer biking trips. The shoulder straps are extremely comfortable, even when on bare skin, and there are straps for your chest and waist if you are running with the pack. I use it daily to go to the gym and am able to hold a jiu-jitsu gi, change of clothes, toiletries, a rolled towel in the side pocket and water bottle in the other side pocket; this thing holds a lot for its size!
