During a recent ice storm destroying our power for several days we were forced to bring out our campstoves. One of them requires this type of bottled gas. I’d never used this campstove before, but the ease of inserting the can and the amount of heat, was the easiest, most phenomenal thing making cooking during this crisis stress free. A fantastic product.

Good quality, fast shipping, and perfect for our camp stove

We do not go camping. My mother does not go camping. So, why do we each have a camp stove and multiple bottles of butane fuel? Because we both live in areas where the power goes out if it snows, if it rains, if a butterfly lands on the electric lines … things like that. Mom uses her camp stove to heat water for coffee. I use mine to cook both during power outages and when preparing large meals and need the extra burner or want to keep something warm at the table. I’ve used these for years without problem. However, I do recommend that you remove the container from the stove when not in use. If the gas canister is engaged, the butane may leak out and you’ll wind up with an empty cansiter when you think you have a full one.

I have a single burner butane stove that uses these canisters. This was an excellent price, including shipping. Since CA has gotten a bit more quaky lately I decided to update my supplies. Nobody wants to eat cold food out of the can, right? This is more compact than bags of charcoal or stacks of wood. As I have seen other major disasters around the country and the amount of time it takes for real help to come, I decided to put a better kit together.

They are a gas..

I have used butane cannisters for about 25 years on my portable gas stoves and heater….I have found no difference between different manufacturers and never had a bad one from anyone, therefore, they all get the same 5 star review….go for the least expensive…..

We have 2 butane camp stoves to use in case our power goes out. We have been without fuel for them for a long time. We purchased these fuel canisters and they work wonderfully. We are very happy with our purchase

Spent much time running around locally to find these. All were a dead end. Spent a lot of time on line looking for these with very, very steep shipping charges. Then hit the jackpot…got the best of everything!! Thank you so very much.

Works fine, about 120 minutes cooking time per can

I made 2 servings of oatmeal each day for 10 days and it takes about 10-15 minutes each time. No complaints it arrived as advertised, though I’ve found out that I can get them as little as $1.50 a can locally at some of the Asian markets in Chinatown NYC, good for me, but perhaps not so easy to find in your area.

Use these on my liveaboard sailboat. These are a cheap and amazing alternative to questionable alcohol stoves. I use a single burner and cook daily, between one and three times, and each canister lasts about 10 days give or take.

It really is 12 cans!

I was hesitant to order these because it was unclear how many cans of the butane fuel I was ordering. But, indeed it was 12 cans. Such a bargain!! Even with the very high shipping fee, it was a steal. Just what I was looking for. Will order again.
