Perfect at 2x the price IF you can get them initially programmed

Depending on the user, this is either the perfect radio and deserves 6 stars or is not even worth the cheaper price. I have tried of few of the “normal” license free radios and did a lot of research. In my case it was perfect.

Bought six for cruise over Thanksgiving and they worked great. One for boys, one for girls and four for moms and dads plus grand parents. Good communication on ship with few dead zones!! Worked great ship to shore when some of group got off early to explore port shopping area while waiting for others..

U.S. companies better listen up.

Fantastic radios. Have been using them now for nearly a year. Once you program them via computer they work great, they allow 5 watts of power even on GMRS and FRS, they can pick up NOAA, police radio, fire, Fm radio, they have a flash light, they have removable antennas (you won’t get that in a FRS radio) and they work well on 2 meter and 70cm bands. American companies just can’t compete at this price range. . Recommended 100%
