A Good Value Choice for Cooler Weather Family Camping

Sizing was true. Materials reasonably durable. Construction solid. No issues with zipper or fit. Decent warmth in cooler temps, as promised. Not very compact, but fine for car camping. Kids liked the look and feel, and didn’t seem constricted by the mummy shape. Very good value if you don’t need a high performance bag.

Perfect size for my very tall 5 year old to use now and probably for the next four years! Warm, easy to zip up and down, lightweight for carrying, compact when packed away, nice “mummy” bag style that she is able to cradle her head in for extra warmth. Highly recommend for the three season youth camper!
Cute, well-priced sleeping bag
great, well priced sleeping bag. Very thick and comfy for 7 year old daughter. we purchased this for a Girl Scout camping trip. We’re going to purchase separate sleeping bag straps because the bag it came with is impossibly small and my daughter (nor we grownups) could properly pack-up the sleeping bag to fit in the included carrying pouch.

I bought this for my four-year-old daughter for a camping trip up in big bear California. It got down to the 30s at night, but she seemed to stay very warm and had no issues getting in or out. I think it’s very well-made and I would definitely recommend it. I would not recommend buying it if the temperature was going to drop much past 30.

Kept my son toasty warm while tent camping in the cold (in combination with a Coleman youth camp pad) even though the temperature dipped into the low 40’s/high 30’s during the night. He loves how cozy the bag feels too. Perfect for us!
Great Bag, Great Price!
My son loves this bag! We went camping, it got into the lower 40s and he said he was plenty warm. He’s an average sized 6 year old, and it was pretty huge on him, but snug enough that he could stay warm. I will say, I thought it would be a bit larger, but I think its exactly 5′ long, I don’t think a 5′ child would actually fit in it. But, he’s got plenty of room to grow, and hopefully his little brother can use it after. The stuff sack has a strap so he can carry it on his shoulder. And it stuffs down to a pretty good size, if he wanted, he could hike with it, though i doubt the cub scouts will do too many grueling hikes.
Snug as a Bug!
My daughter used this sleeping bag for Girl Scout camp. She is 10 years old, 58″ tall and weighs 85 lbs. It was a snug fit but she was able to use it. I did not realize how small it was until it arrived. That was my mistake. It does state that the sleeping bag fits kids up to 5 feet tall. Unfortunately she will outgrown it before camp next year. I will definitely be purchasing another Coleman sleeping bag similar to this one in a larger size next year. As far as quality, it is top notch. I highly recommend this sleeping bag for those with younger children.

We camped in Yosemite over Memorial weekend. It rained the first 2 nights and was 44 degrees the second night. My kids were mummified and slept very soundly. These are a great buy. My son loves the camo interior.
